Question: Will anyone else be using 1-800-MOW-MY-LAWN in my same area?
Answer: Absolutely not! Your territory is yours and yours alone. We can not stop a provider that works near you from working in your area but no calls from your zip codes will go to anyone but you.
Question: How does it work?
Answer: The prospective customer simply calls 1-800-MOW-MY-LAWN and is then asked for the zip code of the property to be serviced. The call is then sent straight to any phone you choose.
Question: Are there any requirements to joining?
Answer: We require that you carry 1 Million dollars in general liability Ins.
Although not a requirement we strongly advise adding 1-800-MOW-MY-LAWN to all shirts, trucks, letterhead, business cards and advertising.
This can be done slowly but it will get you the best results.
Question: How much does it cost to get started?
Answer: Only your first months payment. No setup fees at all.
Question: How do you section off my territory?
Answer: You select the zip codes that you operate in or would like to operate in. Some companies will offer you zip codes but charge much more money based on the population density and household income. We charge a simple flat rate per zip code. Some companies will sell you a area code. This may be good for very large companies but most lawn care providers do not need a whole area code and do not want to be bothered with calls from far outside the area they service.
Question: How do you collect payment?
Answer: You can either pay for the year upfront with a check or you can pay upfront or monthly with a credit card.
Question: Do you provide me with decals for my vehicles?
Answer: Yes. You get one set free when you sign up. Either 24' length or 48' length. We can upgrade you to magnets for a small fee. Also we sell additional decals at a reasonable rate.
Question: Do I have to use your decals?
Answer: No. You can have them made locally if you prefer.
Question: Do I pay for each call?
Answer: Absolutely not! The only cost is your normal monthly fee.
Question: I service a lot of zip codes. Do you offer discounts for large amounts of zip codes?
Answer: Yes we do. Simply contact us for a custom price.
Question: How much does it cost?
Answer: Flat $9.99 per zip code up to 10 and $4.99 per zip code above 10.
Example 8 zip codes costs: $79.92
13 zip codes cost: $114.87
We do offer large discounts for large zip code purchases.
